Home Field Advantage

April 25, 2014

Take a virtual tour of the Mount Mercy University (MMU) athletic complex and see the future home of the Mustangs!

MMU outdoor athletes have never had a “home” of their own. To simply practice and play, they must rent alternative spaces scattered throughout Cedar Rapids, making it difficult for athletes to train, compete, and create enthusiasm for their sport and university.

With the acquisition of 22 acres of land adjacent to main campus, MMU can now develop a premier outdoor athletic complex and finally give its outdoor athletes something they’ve never had – a home field advantage.

When complete, the athletic complex will provide a permanent home field for baseball, softball, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s and women’s soccer – 6 of the university’s 15 intercollegiate athletic teams.
