Shive-Hattery was a subconsultant to Fox Engineering Associates for phase one improvements. This project included improvements to the preliminary treatment facilities, refurbishing the UV disinfection system, replacing the sludge loadout pumps, adding backup plant power and upgrading the plant controls system.
Services included structural and architectural design, power and lighting electrical systems along with a new backup power generator, HVAC and plumbing mechanical systems designs. Civil engineering design included layout, grading, storm sewer, paving and stormwater pollution prevention plan. Shive-Hattery also provided resident project representative services during construction including materials testing, subgrade compaction, rebar inspection, concrete testing, underground piping and construction staking.
