Spoon River, Mackinaw Dells Rest Area, IL
Shive-Hattery was selected by the Illinois Capital Development Board to design improvements to four rest areas on I-74. The project includes upgrades to the water system at the eastbound and westbound Spoon River rest areas near Galesburg and sewage lagoon improvements at the eastbound and westbound Mackinaw Dells Rest Areas near Bloomington. Improvements included water and sewage systems, site drainage, controls and standby power.
