Shive-Hattery´s Downers Grove office is looking for a licensed electrical engineering professional to establish electrical design services in our Downers Grove, IL office. The successful candidate must be willing and able to eventually direct a team of engineers in completing electrical design activities to ensure successful projects in terms of quality, budget and schedule. In the short term must be willing and able to provide engineering design expertise on projects currently outsourced to M/E consultants. The eventual expectation will be the development of a mechanical and electrical team in the office to serve other projects throughout the company.
Retail and health care backgrounds are important. Concept design, equipment specification, detailed design, field inspection and quality control expertise are required for both of these opportunities.
- Technically competent with an established work performance background
- Licensed
- Able to lead a project team in all phases of a project from concept through construction
- 10-15 Years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of developing project budgets and schedules
- Production oriented. People driven
