Holidays
Holidays presently considered as paid days off from work include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (2 days) and Christmas (2 days). When holidays fall on Saturday or Sunday we observe the same transfer as Federal offices.
Vacation
Our vacation policy is two weeks after one year of service, three after five years, four weeks after twenty years, and five weeks after thirty years of service. Vacation will accrue at the rate of 1/12th per month. Employees will be eligible to use it after they have earned it. This benefit is effective the first of the month following your start date.
Discretionary
Employees are provided three paid days of discretionary leave per year at the end of the first month of employment. After three years of service they will earn four days discretionary leave per year; after four years, five days. After five years of employment they shall be provided with six days of discretionary leave per calendar year. If discretionary leave is unused at the end of the calendar year they will be paid the equivalent amount in salary. Discretionary leave may be used at the discretion of the employee to cover time away from work for personal reasons or illness. Discretionary leave may also be used to supplement your vacation.
