In 1895, two civil engineering graduates from Cornell University started a consulting firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, committed to providing outstanding service to clients and the local community.
Today, Shive-Hattery is one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the Midwest with operations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and West Des Moines, Iowa; and Bloomington, Des Plaines, Downers Grove and Moline, Illinois; and Omaha, Nebraska and Chesterfield, Missouri.
