Shive-Hattery’s Water Resources Group in West Des Moines is growing and we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. You will be part of our Community Development Team made up of 40 talented Engineers, Surveyors, and Landscape Architects who have a passion of serving our clients and bettering our communities.
Civil Engineers with 5+/years of experience in stormwater, urban drainage, flood mitigation, stream restoration, watershed improvements, and green infrastructure BMP’s are encouraged to apply. You will have an opportunity to lead a variety of projects throughout Iowa as we continue to deliver sound solutions for our clients.
The successful candidate will serve as lead engineer on multiple projects managing technical quality, schedule, client communication, staff coordination, business development, and project scoping. Please apply today and advance your career at Shive-Hattery!
Education and Experience:
· 5+ Years of experience related to water resources
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
· Licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa
· Experience in the following are preferred:
· Urban stormwater analysis and design. (XP SWMM, SewerGEMS)
· Floodplain modeling and permitting (HEC-RAS)
· Watershed Improvements and Stream Restoration
· AutoCAD Civil 3D
