Shive-Hattery has an immediate open for a Human Resources Recruiter with 3- 5 years of experience. Come grow in your new career with us! This position serves as support to the Director of Human Resources and Talent Ambassador. 

We are looking for an individual who is extremely detail-oriented with proven experience in Recruiting. Candidate must show experience in keeping tabs on several open requisitions at the same time. Must have excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Environment as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in recordkeeping helpful and excellent organizational skills is a must. Role requires discretion and confidentiality. 

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Recruiting administration i.e. scheduling and coordination of interviews with candidates and offices
  • Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department and business units
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits
  • Working with Leaders to create requisitions in the HRIS system and MS Office
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies. 
  • Gather and track data, record keeping and compliance monitoring
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Compensation and benefits recordkeeping
  • Maintaining employee files and the HRIS
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Establish employee onboarding

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred (not required).
  • Human Resources Certification (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP) and/or commitment to the HR field through training and development is desirable.
