Courthouse use expectations have changed dramatically in the past year due to pandemic concerns and constraints, in addition to the continuing presence of restorative justice considerations. As courts design thought leaders, we are fundamentally rethinking how we design courthouses based on their functional and operational interactions – on the interior and exterior.
