With the ongoing concerns surrounding the spread and impact of COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, clients, colleagues, families, friends and surrounding community continue to be our most important priority.

We are reaching out to share the actions Shive-Hattery is taking toward keeping our offices safe and clean. As your trusted partner, we are committed to delivering the service you have come to expect from us.

We continue to monitor this ever-evolving situation and are following the latest guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), local governments and public health agencies.

The enhanced safety measures we’ve taken include:

  • Monitoring our offices to ensure they are stocked with appropriate cleaning supplies.

  • Regularly disinfecting high-touch areas including meeting rooms, lobbies, bathrooms.

  • Increasing frequency of regularly scheduled cleaning and sanitation of our offices.

  • Increasing accessibility of hand sanitizers for clients and employees.

  • Postponing vendor presentations and updates.

  • Postponing large group events.

  • Minimizing in-person meetings to small groups and only as necessary for project related activities and business operations.

  • Dependent upon the visiting country risk levels, we are advising employees traveling internationally for personal reasons that they may be subject self-quarantine.

  • Discouraging U.S. airline travel to jobsites where not absolutely necessary.

  • Recommending all employees to take precautionary health measures including frequent hand washing, social distancing, and staying home if sick.

  • Ensuring our employees have the information to stay healthy or stay at home if they are unwell. We offer paid time off for all full-time and hourly employees.

We are prepared to navigate these unprecedented circumstances with everyone’s safety in mind. While our offices remain open for business, we recognize that this is a challenging time for all, and you may choose to alter how you do business and communicate. In an effort to meet your needs, we remain flexible in communication and meeting methods via video conferencing, teleconferencing, etc. We are also equipped with remote capabilities should our employees need to work remotely.

Please know you’ll still be able to reach us as you have in the past including individual extensions and office emails.

We appreciate your understanding and patience. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Be safe and stay healthy.
