Our experience with geothermal systems dates back to the late 1990’s, and encompasses numerous projects across all market sectors – K12, higher education, commercial, industrial, and municipal. We work with clients to establish the energy performance goals of their project. After evaluating the life cycle cost of different options, geothermal is often the HVAC system of choice. We then assess the specific site and geotechnical conditions, and determine the most suitable geothermal configuration. Our projects have incorporated many geothermal variations, including horizontal closed loop, vertical closed, loop, open loop pump and re-injection, geo sourced distributed hot/chilled systems, and hybrid systems coupling geothermal with supplemental heat sources and sinks such as boilers and cooling towers.
