Overview

The Shive-Hattery Emerging Professional in Engineering Scholarship supports students who are excited about building a future in engineering and making a positive impact through practical, thoughtful design. This scholarship offers financial support and an opportunity to connect with a professional community that values curiosity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving. 

SELECTION CRITERIA

Students will be considered based on academic performance as well as the clarity and authenticity of their personal statement. We welcome a wide range of experiences; what matters most is your perspective and goals. Past Shive-Hattery interns are eligible and encouraged to apply.

A one-page personal statement answering: What are your aspirations for making the world a better place through design?
