Purdue University Northwest Impact Lab featured in Lab Design News.

Designed as a future-focused innovation hub, the Purdue University Northwest Impact Lab will support collaboration, commercialization, and emerging quantum technologies across northwest Indiana.

Located in Hammond, Indiana, the facility is envisioned as a connectivity-driven environment connected to the Chicago Quantum Exchange’s proposed quantum network corridor. Planned spaces include quantum computing labs, a PNW Quantum Network Lab, collaboration and training areas, future quantum computer infrastructure, and adaptable research environments designed to evolve alongside rapidly changing technology.

The project highlights how advanced research and innovation spaces can help strengthen regional economic development while creating opportunities for industry partnerships, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and emerging technologies.
