Leadership

Pete Maruska is Managing Director of the St. Louis studio. He is responsible for a culture aligned with Shive-Hattery’s guiding principle, values and purpose. He’s an advocate for employees, fostering mentoring, development and engagement, while supporting growth strategies for culture, client experience, project delivery and profitability.

Pete has been with KdG, a division of Shive-Hattery, for 37 years. He has grown a hospitality and gaming practice from one client over thirty years ago, to the thriving business that it is today. This is a testament to his core values emphasizing long-term relationships and delivering a consistent, quality experience and product to clients. He promotes an office culture exemplifying a team environment, nurturing individual talents, and mentoring within the design teams.
