Shive-Hattery’s Tucson design studio sits at the base of the Catalina Foothills, where you can find legendary art galleries, fabulous golf courses, and excellent restaurants. It’s a great place to work and live.

Our office is bordered by five mountain ranges, which means we’re surrounded by beauty—not only the mountains, but also the Rillito River, national parks, and desert. You can spend every day outside hiking, camping, biking, rock climbing, cave viewing, kayaking, or taking a dip in the water.

Top 5 Reasons We Love Our Tucson Studio

  • We’re in a great location and close to everything. You can zip downtown or get to the freeway within minutes.
  • Our office is part of a vibrant retail plaza, which means we get to enjoy fantastic food, coffee shops, med spas, boutiques, and a bank all within close walking distance.
  • When you’re ready to call it a day, there’s live outdoor music to enjoy right outside our office doors almost every night.
  • We’re on The Loop, which makes it easy to take a great walk or ride along the riverbed. It also connects us to parks, BMX tracks, farmers’ markets, and the city as a whole.
  • Because we’re near the University of Arizona campus, our internship program is strong. We welcome design and architecture students to our office every year.
