Electrical Engineer Collaboration at workstation

Overview

Our Corporate Office Project Delivery Team seeks an entry-level, self-motivated technology power user for either our Valparaiso or West Des Moines office.

This role will focus on advancing firmwide education, standardization, technical management, and best practices in Building Information Modeling (BIM). Not day-to-day project design. BIM is the interface between design and technology, we’re seeking someone that matches that description. The right candidate will be curious and constantly seeking a better, more creative approach to workflows and problem-solving.

What you’ll do:

Setup projects submitted through a Project Request Form. Close projects as assigned.

Act as a first point of contact for the Project Delivery Team for troubleshooting and informing users on improved workflows, elevating to the entire team as necessary.

Collaborate with corporate BIM Managers and design-studio BIM Coordinators to set up and maintain design software files. Help develop content for company-wide adoption.

Keep design models running smoothly and efficiently by generating project audit reports and model health checks.
