History and Details
Nate first became interested in construction when his grandfather enlisted his help to install ag-tile drainage and build ponds on the farm. This experience and interest in science and math led Nate to Iowa State University and civil engineering.
As the Public Infrastructure Unit director, Nate leads teams specializing in survey + reality capture, transportation and water + environment. His servant-leader approach is the foundation to successful teams and projects during his career at Shive-Hattery.
