As Finley Hospital continues to advance its imaging capabilities, a need arose to upgrade its MRI suite with the latest technology. The hospital sought to enhance patient experience and optimize workflow efficiency while minimizing disruptions to daily operations.

Shive-Hattery collaborated closely with Finley Hospital to design a renovated 1,600-square-foot MRI suite within the Radiology Department. The project included comprehensive shielding updates, infrastructure enhancements, and modernized finishes to support the new MRI equipment. Given site constraints, strategic planning was necessary to facilitate equipment installation, whether through an existing skylight or a newly created exterior access point. Our team also coordinated construction documentation with the State Fire Marshal’s Office to ensure regulatory compliance.

The newly renovated MRI suite provides Finley Hospital with cutting-edge imaging capabilities, improving diagnostic accuracy and patient care. Thoughtful design choices create a more comfortable and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
