Jake serves as secretary-treasurer for Shive-Hattery. He is responsible for financial management of the firm, serves as secretary to the board of directors and supervises the accounting staff.
History and Details
Prior to joining the firm, he was an Entrepreneurial Services Director in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, office of RSM McGladrey, Inc. He has extensive experience in the real estate, construction and manufacturing industries. His background includes more than 11 years of public accounting experience working with owner-managed companies providing a wide range of services, including financial statement compliance, tax compliance, tax planning and general business advice. Jake completed the RSM McGladrey Business Advisor Program at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
