The Chicago Sky are a dynamic and growing force in the WNBA.

The new Chicago Sky Practice Facility creates a purpose-built environment designed specifically around the needs of professional athletes. The facility features two full-size practice courts, strength and conditioning areas, athletic training and recovery spaces, hydrotherapy amenities, a player lounge and dining area, and dedicated spaces for media, content creation, and team operations. Together, these spaces support daily performance while also strengthening the organization’s ability to recruit players, engage partners, and tell its story.

The design team collaborated closely with ownership, coaches, players, and support staff to ensure the facility functions intuitively for the team’s daily training, recovery, and operations.

Throughout the facility, branding and storytelling elements reinforce the Chicago Sky’s identity and deep connection to the city. From a thoughtfully curated lobby to skyline design elements, local and personalized artwork, gallery-style moments, and powerful quotes from coaches integrated across the space, each detail contributes to a living story — one that honors legacy, celebrates culture, and fosters a profound sense of pride and belonging.

The new facility establishes a true sense of place for the organization, supporting player performance, strengthening the team’s connection to the city and its fans, and laying a resilient foundation for the franchise’s future.
