RSM – Philadelphia

International accounting firm RSM wanted to transform its Philadelphia office into a hybrid work environment where employees could choose to work from home or in the office but meet at the office for collaborations and client meetings. With a new location, in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, the office was able to modernize, reduce its footprint, and create flexible workspaces that would align with this new workplace strategy.

The new Philadelphia office is located on the 21^st level of 1835 Market Street – the center of one of the country’s largest professional services markets. The space is designed to support a range of work styles and activities, providing focused work zones, as well as spaces for collaboration, training, hospitality, and social connection. Employees are welcomed to the space with warm oak tones, textured large-format floor tile, industrial-brick accents, and fluted glass details. Lighting accents in the space intentionally highlight features and create interest. The integration of greenery throughout enlivens these spaces and creates a nice contrast with the natural industrial look of the building, exposed ceilings, and metal accents. The finishes feature pops of deep RSM-inspired blue, cognac leather accents, and earthy wood tone, creating a sophisticated – yet industrial-inspired aesthetic.

The mix of spaces allows the office to accommodate both everyday employee needs and client-facing activities within one floor. Employees can move between individual work areas, collaborative spaces, and social areas. The completed buildout creates a cohesive Philadelphia workplace that supports how RSM’s teams work, connect, and gather. RSM Philadelphia opened in April 2026.
