Our studio in Cleveland is one of Shive-Hattery’s newest locations, which means it’s ripe with opportunity. Our team is a mix of interior designers who have been part of our company for more than a decade and those who have recently joined the crew. 

On the surface, we appear to be a small office, but we’re backed by a national firm that offers the people and resources necessary for support, education, and growth. As we learn, we get to create a culture that fits our Cleveland architecture and engineering firm.

Leadership

Mark Matuska is Managing Director of the Chicago (Illinois) and Cleveland (Ohio) offices. He is responsible for a culture aligned with Shive-Hattery’s guiding principle, values and purpose. He’s an advocate for employees, fostering mentoring, development and engagement, while supporting growth strategies for culture, client experience, community involvement, project delivery and profitability.

Mark joined Design Organization (now Shive-Hattery) after his graduation from Ball State University in May of 1997 with Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees. With over 25 years of experience spanning multiple market sectors including higher education, health care, and workplace, Mark leverages this diverse experience to provide greater value to clients and to better guide the development of our professionals.
