Clover Park Technical College needed a modern, hands-on learning environment that would prepare students for real-world barbering careers. The existing space, formerly a floral shop and work area, required a complete transformation into a facility that could support instruction, practical training, and client interaction while reflecting today’s professional barbering industry.

The project renovated 1,600 square feet within Building 23 to create a dedicated barbering facility that includes classroom, training, and client-service spaces. The updated design balances functionality, comfort, and style, providing an environment that supports hands-on education while mirroring professional barber shop settings.

The new barbering school provides students with an immersive learning experience that bridges classroom education and industry practice. By creating a space that reflects modern barbering environments, the facility enhances workforce readiness, supports student success, and strengthens the college’s commitment to career-focused education.
